Roles and Responsibilities -
1. Annual planning and curriculum execution: Develop a comprehensive annual plan for pre-school physical education, aligned with age-appropriate developmental goals and conduct regular PE sessions in accordance with the planned curriculum, ensuring a balance of movement, coordination, and fun.
2. Health and hygiene monitoring: Perform weekly hygiene inspections during PE classes, including checks of students’ hair, nails, and hair accessories. Need to maintain systematic records of observations and follow-up actions, if any.
3. Gated duty and dispersal scheduling: Prepare and circulate a monthly schedule for gate duty and dispersal area supervision, ensuring equitable rotation among staff members.
4. Interschool sports preparation and tracking: Train and prepare students for participation in inter school sports competitions. Need to maintain a detailed log of events, achievements, and updates within the school’s sports calendar. Need to take them for various sports events that may require extended hours of work at times.
5. Assembly and sports day coordination: Organise and lead assemblies related to physical education themes. Required to conduct training sessions for Sports Day, including drills, commands, and other physical activities. Need to ensure students are well-prepared and confident for performances and participation.
6. Classroom substitution and support for the coordinator: Provide classroom support by substituting for the Pre-School Coordinator during few periods. Need to manage her class with care and continuity, maintaining the established routines and learning environment.
